One of the neatest aspects of the World of Warcraft is the amount of flexibility you have with your style of gameplay. Some people like to explore on their own, while others prefer to be a part of a group. Regardless of what style suits you, there are always steps you can take to maximize your character's effectiveness at his or her role.

Chief among these is choosing gear—weapons, armor, trinkets, and enchantments, to name a few—that strengthen the skills you use over the ones you don't.

How do I choose the right skill tree?

Well, that's the million dollar question, isn't it? The answer is obvious: it depends.
