Warriors are kings of melee combat. Their role versatility starts at dealing damage and ends at taking damage, with little in-between. As such, warriors are good for both solo and group play. Because they can wear plate armor, they are especially good at tanking.

Blood elves are the only race that may not choose the warrior class. Every other race has this option.

Customizing your warrior

Investing talent points into a druid has considerable impact on the type of character they are, arguably more so than with other classes.

Choosing one tree over another will largely come down to deciding whether you want your warrior to deal damage or to survive it. There is little blending of skills for these roles, meaning that even splits between two trees may not be the best option. Either way, the first two trees maximize the damage you deal, while the last one maximizes not only the damage you take but also the control you have over the threat you generate.

Different stances

Warriors may choose from battle stance, defensive stance, and berzerker stance. Most notably, these stances make some abilities available and others restricted. In a general sense, the defensive stance is good for tanking and the berzerker stance is good for dealing damage, with the battle stance falling somewhere between.

Be picky with gear

If your warrior has two weapons (and you've specialized as a Fury warrior), then maximize your hit rating whenever possible (it reduces the likelihood of missing a target on a swing, which is high for your off-hand weapon). Other stats, such as resiliance and block, are especially beneficial for tanks. Improving these defensive abilities reduces not only the damage your warrior takes over time, but also the chance of being a victim to an enemy's critical hit or crushing blow.
